For over 50 years, Kirby has been developing world-class Electrical, Mechanical and E&I apprentices through its Apprenticeship Programme.  The Kirby Apprenticeship Programme provides apprentices with an opportunity to develop technically and personally while earning and working on leading-edge engineering projects.

Kirby is one of the largest recruiters of apprentices in Ireland; currently employing over 120 apprentices.  This figure is set to rise with Kirby on target for 25% growth in 2019.  “The Kirby Apprenticeship programme plays an integral role in our talent development.  Many of our Senior Leaders began their careers as Kirby Apprentices and we expect the new apprentices to become the leaders of the future” says Fergus Barry, Associate Director – Group Head of HR at Kirby.
