Kirby has been awarded its 9th consecutive Gold Medal Award at the internationally-renowned Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Health and Safety Awards 2018. These awards, which receive entries from organisations around the world, recognise achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

Our submission is based on our EHS management system which is implemented by our people and supply chain and it is their commitment to accident and ill-health prevention that helps Kirby to maintain its success and ensures everyone goes home safely at the end of the working day.
Julia Small, RoSPAs head of qualifications, awards and events, said: The RoSPA Awards are the most highly-respected in the health and safety arena, with almost 2,000 entrants every year, and allow organisations to prove excellence in the workplace, demonstrating a commitment to the wellbeing of not only employees but all those who interact with it.
Kirby will be presented with the award during a ceremony at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central on Thursday, September 13, 2018.
