What you’ll be doing
You’ll be the structural point of contact on site — making sure every load, frame, penetration, support, and anchor has been designed, reviewed, built, and installed properly.
In practice, that means:
- Reviewing structural design drawings, models, and calculations to ensure buildability
- Managing structural RFIs, design queries, and on‑site issues before they become rework
- Coordinating with CSA, Architectural, MEP, and QA/QC teams to avoid clashes and compliance issues
- Monitoring installation of concrete works, steelwork, supports, penetrations, and structural interfaces
- Ensuring structural elements meet EU codes, project specifications, and client standards
- Supporting temporary works design and ensuring safe implementation
- Keeping an eye on physical progress and making sure structural risks are dealt with early
What you need If you’ve worked as a Structural Engineer on large industrial, pharma, semiconductor, or data centre builds, you’ll know exactly what’s required.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Strong experience with structural design and/or site engineering on major construction projects
- Solid understanding of reinforced concrete, structural steel, load paths, and temporary works
- Familiarity with Eurocodes and typical data‑centre‑specific structural requirements
- Confidence reviewing drawings, models, and contractor submittals
- The ability to communicate clearly with designers, PMs, trades, and clients
- A steady, practical approach when the pressure ramps up
All accommodation, travel, and rotation logistics are covered.
Why consider it
- A flagship European project with major structural complexity
- Full involvement from design queries through to installation and handover
- Long‑term career prospects across Europe
- A role where your structural decisions genuinely shape outcomes
