I’m hiring a Mechanical Site Supervisor to join the team in Mayo. It’s a permanent role with a seriously strong pipeline — we’re not talking about filling a gap between jobs. This is consistent work across high-spec projects: data centres, pharma builds, substations. Proper engineering with proper clients.
Here’s what I need:
Someone who can take control of the mechanical side of the site. Lead from the front. Keep things running smoothly, safely, and to a high standard. You’ll be managing the trades, coordinating subs, and keeping the site team focused. I don’t need a clipboard manager — I need someone who can walk the site, make decisions, and earn the respect of the team.
You’ll be doing things like:
- Supervising mechanical crews day to day
- Keeping timelines tight and quality high
- Making sure the safety paperwork isn’t just box-ticking — it actually means something
- Reporting progress and sorting problems before they become issues
- Being the go-to person for technical support on site
To do this well, you’ll need:
- Hands-on experience leading mechanical teams on live construction or engineering sites
- A strong grip on safety, quality, and site coordination
- The confidence to deal with subcontractors and get them aligned
- Good communication — up, down, and across
Why join us?
I could rattle off the usual stuff about salary and benefits (which are good, by the way), but the main reason is this: you’ll be part of a team that gets things done, doesn’t mess people around, and genuinely invests in its people. If you want to move up, there’s a path for that here. If you just want to crack on with the job and be left to do it well, you’ll get the space to do that too.
Sound like something you’d be up for?
Drop me a message or apply — we’ll have a straight conversation and see if it’s a fit.
