What you’ll be doing
You’ll take the lead on all Mechanical Quality Control activities on site. In simple terms: making sure what’s installed is what was designed — and that it works.
More specifically, you will:
- Oversee mechanical installation quality across HVAC, piping, process systems, and equipment
- Carry out inspections at each stage: pre‑install, in‑progress, and final sign‑off
- Work closely with trades, supervisors, and package leads to keep quality issues small and solvable
- Manage RFIs, punch lists, and QC documentation without creating unnecessary admin
- Support commissioning teams through testing and handover
- Identify issues early, resolve them quickly, and maintain momentum on site
- Act as the main point of contact for mechanical quality queries from clients and internal teams
What you need If you’ve led Mechanical QC or Mechanical Engineering activities on large industrial, pharma, semiconductor, or data centre projects, you’ll fit right in.
Ideally, you have:
- Strong experience in Mechanical QC on major construction projects
- Solid knowledge of QA/QC processes, inspection requirements, and EU construction standards
- Experience supporting commissioning and handover activities
- The ability to work with (and influence) trades, PMs, supervisors, and client reps
