Key Functions:
  
Program Implementation and Management:

  • Lead the integration and operationalisation of the Zero Harm Program’s core processes and principles organisation wide.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance program components to ensure effectiveness and adherence to evolving safety standards.

Training and Development:

  • Design and conduct comprehensive training sessions tailored to embed Zero Harm principles at all organisational levels.
  • Collaborate with HR and Training departments to integrate Zero Harm values into recruitment, onboarding, and professional development, emphasising leadership development in safety.

Safety Culture Promotion:

  • Champion a proactive safety culture, driving leadership visibility and commitment to the Zero Harm ethos.
  • Facilitate open communication and collaborative efforts across departments to reinforce safety as a core organisational value.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Rigorously monitor and evaluate adherence to Zero Harm protocols, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Compile and present insightful reports on safety performance, program milestones, and areas for strategic enhancement.

Key Tasks, Activities, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Reports to the Group EHS Manager and is well-versed in company values, policies, procedures and the Zero Harm Program.
  • Coordinates and supports the roll-out and ongoing implementation of the Zero Harm Program across new and existing projects.
  • Engages with Directors and Operational Management to review project performance, integrating Zero Harm metrics.
  • Sets and implements targets for Zero Harm Performance in collaboration with Business Unit Managers and Directors.
  • Manages Zero Harm reporting processes, ensuring comprehensive reviews and follow-up actions.
  • Conducts internal program audits and periodic site inspections, recommending improvements, and documenting findings.
  • Facilitates department and Business Unit report preparation and presentation.
  • Coordinates and provides necessary training, ensuring alignment with Zero Harm objectives.
  • Actively participates in Business Unit & EHS Meetings, ensuring effective communication of safety information.
  • Oversees Supply Chain engagement in the program.
  • Issues recommendations, commendations as appropriate.
  • Establish a robust feedback mechanism from employees at all levels.
