Role Purpose As a CSA Quantity Surveyor at Kirby Group Engineering, you will play a key role in managing costs and ensuring commercial success on P&R projects. You will work closely with project teams to deliver accurate cost control, value engineering, and contractual compliance, supporting Kirby’s commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and cost plans for CSA packages.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract administration.
- Track and report on project costs, variations, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and Kirby standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to optimize value and mitigate risk.
- Support monthly valuations, progress claims, and final account settlements.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in CSA Quantity Surveying, preferably in P&R or similar sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management principles.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, Cost Management tools).
