Kirby is helping to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions this Christmas with a 10,500 donation to Make-A-Wish as part of the companys annual Christmas charity donation.
Jimmy Kirby, Kirby Group Managing Director, presented the donation to Make-A-Wish on behalf of Kirby. Speaking at the presentation, Jimmy Kirby said: We are proud to support Make-A-Wish, a charity which works so hard at improving the lives of children with life-threatening conditions. We hope our donation goes some way towards enriching the lives of these children and their families.
Commenting on the donation, Marjut Ellis from Make-A-Wish said: On behalf of our wish children, a sincere thank you for this wonderful donation! Every donation is hugely important to Make-A-Wish as we receive no government funding and rely completely on the generosity of companies and individuals to continue granting brave childrens wishes. This gift will make a real difference to Make-A-Wish and help us bring smiles and happy memories to seriously ill children. A wish granted is true magic for a child, providing respite from their normal routines of hospitals, doctors, and treatment. A wish can create moments of joy and memories that last a lifetime.
Every year Kirby makes a significant contribution to a substantial number of charities. The donation to Make-A-Wish is one of many charity donations which Kirby will make this Christmas.
