Role Purpose

  • The Quality administrator shall review all new project information from the projects common data environment (ACC build) as it becomes available.
  • Liaise with Lead Quality Control Engineer / Project manager / Site manager to establish construction execution philosophy to prioritize and develop project quality documents.
  • Review project drawings and specifications to incorporate into quality documents (Inspections and test plans)
  • Liaise with document control for submission of quality documents and track status until client approved.
  • Develop digital work packs on common data environment (CDE) ACC build ahead of planned construction start dates.
  • Compile list of client comments returned on quality documents and incorporate prior to submission.
  • Manage flow of information between client, Kirby and subcontractors. Track statis of open comments.   
  • Review and monitor subcontractor / vendor quality documentation submission inline with project schedule.                                       
  • Organize and maintain quality registers as new information becomes available
  • Update the project registers / trackers on progress of quality documentation
  • Review any open RFI or design team queries which may impact quality documentation
  • Record and issue of site meeting minutes as required
  • Ensure smooth flow of information for all site staff and relevant sub-contractors
  • Organize and maintain a specification register as new information becomes available
  • Maintain control of approved quality documentation and ensure latest revision is always available to project team.
  • Assist with development of Quality Plan and implementation of same.
  • Ensuring checks are completed for compliance with document naming convention and revision control
  • Access and review latest quality process and procedures on Kirby KNET platform
  • You will proactively and vigilantly keep information secure and fully comply with the Kirby Information Security Management System (ISMS).
