Role Overview: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Development and CRM Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with the CRM Lead to ensure the accurate management of data entered into our CRM system and the maintenance of pipeline views and dashboard filters. Your efforts will contribute to the efficient operation of our CRM platform and support the business development activities by assisting the coordination of meetings, managing follow-ups on action items, and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed effectively. The role is based in our Dublin office and requires frequent interaction with our internal teams and potentially external stakeholders.
Business Development Assistant Responsibilities
As a Business Development and CRM Assistant, you will be responsible for executing various tasks including:

  • Assist in the accurate and timely entry of data into the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct regular data quality checks to identify and rectify discrepancies or errors in the CRM database.
  • Collaborate with the CRM Lead to customise views and dashboard filters according to the needs of different teams or stakeholders. Ensure that views and dashboard filters are optimised for usability and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Support users in navigating the CRM system, utilising views, and applying dashboard filters effectively.
  • Assist the development of training materials and documentation to onboard new users and enhance existing users’ proficiency with CRM tools.
  • Serve as a point of contact for troubleshooting CRM-related issues and providing solutions or escalating to the CRM Lead as necessary.
  • Organise and schedule meetings, manage meeting minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure alignment and completion of tasks.
  • Stay informed about CRM best practices and emerging trends to continuously improve CRM processes and functionality.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in data entry or administration, preferably in a CRM or database management role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and all Microsoft Office Suite tools.
  • A keen interest in data management and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience within the construction or engineering sectors is advantageous.
